Crowned Heads Announces “Starwood,” an Event-Only Cigar Honoring Nashville’s Legendary Starwood Amphitheater
NASHVILLE, TN — Crowned Heads has announced the release of Starwood, a new event-only cigar created to honor one of Nashville’s most beloved live music landmarks, the Starwood Amphitheater.
Crafted as a 5 x 50 robusto, Starwood pays tribute to the outdoor venue that helped shape Middle Tennessee’s live music culture from 1986 to 2006. For two decades, Starwood was the place where fans packed the lawn, lights filled the night sky, and some of the biggest names in rock, country, and pop took the stage.
From its opening night with Blue Öyster Cult to its final show featuring Aerosmith and Mötley Crüe, Starwood became more than just a concert venue. It became a rite of passage for generations of music fans.
Crowned Heads, a Nashville-based cigar company known for blending music, culture, and premium tobacco, now brings that same spirit to the cigar world with Starwood — a cigar made exclusively for in-store events and shared experiences.
“Starwood was more than a venue. It was a rite of passage for so many people in Nashville,” said Jon Huber, President of Crowned Heads. “I vividly remember seeing Cheap Trick open for Stone Temple Pilots back in May of 1997 at Starwood. The lawn, the lights, the roar of the audience — it all created an unforgettable memory. With this cigar, we wanted to capture that same feeling and create an exceptional smoke meant to be enjoyed in good company.”
The Starwood is produced at Nicaragua American Cigars S.A. (NACSA) and features an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper over binder and filler tobaccos from Estelí, Jalapa, and Ometepe in Nicaragua.
The cigar will be available only at select Crowned Heads events. Fans and retailers are encouraged to follow Crowned Heads and authorized retail partners for future event announcements.
