A new up and coming cigar brand from the great state of Pennsylvania is here. Black Rock Cigar Company founded by two travel baseball coaches and friends, Barry and Jim. Black Rock Cigar Company is rooted in the coal region of Central Pennsylvania where Jim was born and raised. Right now the company has two blends, that each have two sizes available called the Vesta #4 and The Williamstown.
The Vesta #4 is named after a coal mine that at its time was once the largest bituminous coal mine in the world. The Mine was functional from 1903 to 1984. The Vesta #4 is a medium bodied cigar that uses a Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, Nicaraguan long-fillers and a Condega binder. There are two sizes offered of this blend at this time, 5×50 Robusto and a 6×52 Toro.

The Williamstown is named after the great city founded in 1826. Willamstown played a huge part in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. As you can see from the logo that Black Rock is using, they are honoring all this rich history their state has to offer. The Williamstown is a medium to medium plus cigar using a Mexican San Andreas wrapper, with Nicaraguan long-fillers and Indonesian binder that adds smooth integration and subtle earthiness. This cigar is offered in a 5×50 Robusto and a 6×52 Toro.
